For the first time… the Spokane Chiefs wore specialty Teddy Bear Toss Jerseys on December 7, 2024. I had the opportunity to propose the specialty jersey as a viable option and then design them from start to finish. This was one of my favorite projects and it was so incredible to see the jerseys come to life after months of planning, design, and production.

  • the spokane chiefs typically wear red, white, or blue jerseys in keeping with the team’s branding. on three occasions during the 22-23 season, they wore a specialty jersey that i designed. the three jerseys included military appreciation, chiefs fight cancer, and st. paddy’s day.

  • on a number of occasions during the season, the chiefs offer a special promotional t-shirt for pre-order. i designed each shirt for the 22-23 season, including a generic chiefs shirt, dia de los muertos, valentine’s day, women in hockey, st. paddy’s day, and more.

On behalf of the Spokane community, the Spokane Chiefs have announced their intent to bid on the 2026 Memorial Cup, the national championship of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). 

The Memorial Cup will have an estimated economic impact as significant as any sporting event that the community has ever hosted through an influx of visitors and exposure.  The 106th version of the tournament will be played over 10 days in May, 2026, and provide a significant spotlight on the region, including extensive media coverage that includes national Canadian and American broadcasts, radio, and online platforms.
